I am so excited that registration for our 4th Annual Day School Family Shabbaton at Camp Ramah in Ojai is now open (December 13-15)! Last year was so much fun, and I am looking forward to building on our experience with all of our new and returning families. 

Some highlights of our time together will include: 

• Arts and crafts

• Student-led Kabbalat Shabbat

• Creative Shabbat morning service with student Torah readers

• An incredible ropes course experience (unless it rains, in which case we will have something else fun)

• Pool time

• Hikes

• Yoga

• Havdalah

• Campfire

• FUN parent socials

• Time to be together and build community 

• Counselor-led activities during the day on Shabbat for children so parents have an opportunity to relax without the kids!

We will have a Gan (nursery) for ECC-aged children (2 and older), programming for TK & K, and programming for 1st-6th graders.  Programming for those in 7th grade and above, will be planned depending on the number of older children who register. Their camp experiences may include being a junior counselor or participating in teen activities, tailored to fit the group.  There will be evening Shmira (babysitting) in the lobby of buildings for children sleeping in adult rooms.

 Adults have private rooms with bathrooms - motel style. The cost of the Shabbaton includes lodging, meals, and all activities. 

We are grateful to have generous sponsors again this year such that we can offer a discounted rate for the first 30 families who register. The full cost of the weekend is $850 for 2 adults and 2 children; the first 30 families who register will receive the rate of $600! Full payment is required to complete the registration page.  Those families who qualify for the $250 discount will receive it as as a refund after they sign up.
