Julie Dubron, Parent & Me Coordinator

Julie Dubron, MA

Julie Dubron is a Parent Educator, Early Childhood Teacher and former Director of Early Childhood Programs with an extensive background in Early Childhood Education. Beginning in 1989, Julie has worked with children and their families, 6 weeks – 6 years old. As a Coordinator and Community Instructor for the school district, she connected families with resources and provided ongoing parent education classes, mommy and me programs and workshops. As a teacher, she offers experiences to engage children’s sense of wonder to scaffold their growth and development. As a Director, her goal was to be part of programs that embodied the best of Reggio-inspired curriculum with Jewish values and a sense of community.

As a spouse in an interfaith marriage, and a parent of both a typical and special needs child, Julie brings a personal perspective, compassion and understanding to her lifelong mission of bringing education and meaning to families’ journeys through childhood by embracing a meaningful program and providing support and guidance through the early childhood years. She is passionate that there is no one right way to raise a child and wants to provide learning spaces where families feel valued and validated.

Julie received her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies, her Masters of Arts in Educational Psychology, and is trained in a variety of evaluative tools for use in early childhood settings. She has recently been accepted as a fellow into the First 36 program through the Bureau of Jewish Education and continues her professional development through a variety of activities.
