Dear Parents,
Spring has sprung, and we are truly seeing our students blossom inside the classroom, on the yard and play areas, and in their interactions with peers and their teachers. Between IGD and Jump-a-Thon, as well as their regular everyday schedule, our students have been working hard! Now, it's time for a well-deserved break.
We've all heard and read about the benefits of downtime, so hopefully your spring break will provide many opportunities for time outdoors, special time with family and friends, and maybe even an adventure outside of Los Angeles. Wherever your spring break takes you, I hope it will be a relaxing and restorative one for you, our students, our teachers and administrators. You'll be grateful for this time off because come April 29 (when we return to school), we will have only five weeks left of school … and they are sure to be busy!
Before you “shut down” for spring break, don't forget to register for our upcoming Annual Celebration on Saturday, May 4. It's going to be a fun-filled evening for Day School families honoring Cindy Kestenbaum for her years of support as an educator at ADAT, and Chuck and Barrie Richter for their constant support, allowing us to continue to further the mission of our school. To register, visit: www.aaeds.org/celebration. Remember, 100% of the evening's proceeds goes to our scholarship program.
Wishing you and your whole family an enjoyable spring break and a Chag Pesach Sameach - Happy Passover!
B'Shalom,
Shara
