Havdalah Highlights
We start each week gathered together as a school for a Havdalah ceremony, during which we highlight students who we have noticed acting in ways that carry out our mission. Because we are so proud of our students, we wanted to share their stories with you!
2nd grade Bar T. picked a beautiful rose and put it in his teacher's desk with a sign that said be careful its wet. She thought it was so thoughtful.
5th graders Jonathan L. and Ilan D. helped Morah Mali clean up her belongings when they got dumped out of her shed.
Audrey Y. in first grade was heading into Farber Auditorium to have lunch. She opened the doors to go in and instead of actually going in she stopped and held the door open for ALL her classmates. She didn't head into lunch until every last classmate was in before her.
Shira A. in first grade was walking by another first grader and noticed that she was having trouble tying her shoes. Shira stopped and helped her and together they got the job done.
