Masks and PPE

We will abide by local government guidelines and ask that all families in the Adat+ do the same. Adults will not be permitted on campus without a mask. This is a synagogue-wide policy and is non-negotiable. Adat+ staff will not engage in a conversation with you if you are not wearing a mask, if your mask is below your nose, or if you are not standing at least 6 ft (maybe more) from another adult. Faceshields alone are not appropriate PPE, they may only be worn in conjunction with a proper mask.  This is for your safety as well as the safety of our staff.

All children in the Adat+ program will be required to wear masks. All staff will wear masks at all times and face shields (in conjunction with masks) when appropriate.

Information will be provided to all staff, children and parents on proper use, removal, and laundering of cloth face coverings. We will require that all children and staff arrive at Adat wearing a face covering but disposable face masks will be available and distributed on an as needed basis.

Children should dress appropriately for the weather and in any school-required dress code (if applicable.)  You may want to consider adding a hoodie to their backpack even on hotter days as our air conditioning can get cold.  Please label ALL additional layers of clothing.
