Rabbi Emeritus
RABBI EMERITUS | Moshe Rothblum
Rabbi Rothblum is the Rabbi emeritus of Adat Ari El, having served as Senior Rabbi for 38 years. He is a graduate of UCLA and JTS, and was the Music and Drama director at Camp Ramah, both in Wisconsin and in Ojai. His musical compositions for prayer are sung in synagogues and Jewish summer camps around the world to such an extent that many people consider the tunes to be “traditional.” In addition to his spiritual leadership and liturgical compositions, he is well known for the “Rabbi’s Plays” where he directed AAE USYers in musicals for 45 years. Rabbi Rothblum's love for Jewish music is reflected in his three albums of liturgical music---Windows of the Soul, Sermon Spirit Song, and B’yad Moshe, which showcased some of his best known compositions.
