Committed to ensuring that our members can access the deep wisdom of our tradition, Adat Ari El provides many, varied learning opportunities for adults in our community to grow their souls.  We offer a wide range of opportunities weekly, monthly, and seasonally. We invite you to become a life long learner! We hope you join us. 


Starting November 10 - Taught by Members of the JTS and Ziegler Faculties - Tuesdays at 5:00pm (JTS) and Wednesdays at 7:00pm (Ziegler)
We are honored to be participating in this joint initiative from the RA, JTS, USCJ, and Ziegler which is offering communities the opportunity to participate in adult education with some of the world's leading scholars.  This will be a time for deep learning and engagement with our texts and traditions.

Two Rabbis Walk into a Bar

Join us on the second Sunday of each month at 8:00pm for a lively discussion and "ask the rabbis" session. Grab an adult beverage and enjoy this great opportunity to engage with our clergy each week.

Mishnah Monday- 12:00pm - 12:30pm
Taught by Rabbi Bernhard

A weekly half hour exploration of Chagigah.  This tractate of the mishnah deals with the three pilgrimage festivals, ritual purity, and early Jewish mystical reflections. Only open mind.

A weekly discussion using traditional commentaries on the Torah portion for that week. Only open mind and a willingness to listen before talking.

Join Cantor Aranoff on  the first Monday of each month at 4:30pm for a fun mix of classic and contemporary Hebrew & English music.

Multi-Interest Day (MID)- 10:00am-12:00pm
Taught by Rabbi Jonathan Bernhard and Rabbi Mark Goodman
MID is live again in the midst of our international health crises.  Our superlative teachers, Rabbi Jonathan Bernhard and Rabbi Mark Goodman, will continue their upbeat and insightful teaching about King David and Books which didn't make it into our Bible, respectively, through Zoom.  Classes are scheduled at 10:00am and at 11:00am.

Meditation Minyan- 7:30pm - 8:45pm

Diego Gesualdi will lead us in weekly sessions on Wednesday evenings. Sessions will include a brief introduction, a discussion regarding a topic of the day, meditation, and conclude with an opportunity for questions and comments.
