7:00 PM - 8:30 PMWe are excited to have Dev Brous lead a powerful wellness session of mindful exploration for the Adat Ari El community. The session will center on the subject of her recent TEDx talk: Applying Lessons of Nature to Combat Burnout.
Dev launched our #GreenAdat program! She is an urban homesteader and environmental educator who consults with individuals and institutions to develop resilient practices for self-care, community care, and earth care.

Session Description: The pressure right now is immense on too many levels. At this point in COVID, you may be feeling really over it! Stretched thin, without a sufficient support structure as the world slowly begind to open up. You are NOT alone.
You are invited to a Zoom wellness journey designed to nourish and support you.
You are welcome to participate actively, or be present with your screen off, in togetherness and in privacy.
Learn about a Jewish approach to regeneration. We will explore mindfulness practices to help you to slow down and become present with yourself. In these unprecedented times, stillness and movement, silence and sound, can gently guide us back to a centered and grounded place.

What does the Torah say, what wisdom does it contain, and what lessons does it have for modern Jews? The answers may surprise you. Join our new Family Torah Study program and find out. Lead by lay leader, Bruce Adelstein, students in Grades 6 - 12 and their parents meet once a month, read the text of the Torah, study older and modern commentaries, and discuss and debate these ideas. Participating in this "great conversation" is the Jewish way to gain wisdom, learn to read carefully, think critically, argue forcefully, and generally become a more knowledgeable person. And it is a lot of fun. Come join us on the third Sunday of each month at 4:00pm via Zoom. Feel free to email Bruce Adelstein for more information. -
