We'll discuss "The Pickpocket," by American writer Naomi Benaron. With great trepidation, Gabriel Metzl returns to Prague, his childhood home, 64 years after the Nazis sent him, his family and other members of the Jewish community to concentration camps. Prague's Astronomical Clock plays a central role in the plot.  You can watch some entertaining videos about the clock and its history on YouTube.

We encourage you to print the PDF and bring it with you on the 3rd.
